Jack the Cuddly Dog is a developmental baby video geared towards babies and toddlers ages 6 months
to 2 years. I’ve read reviews of the video comparing it to the Baby Einstein videos. This only gave
me a vague idea of what the video was like because I’ve never owned a Baby Einstein video even
though my sisterinlaw swears by them. I recently received a copy of Jack the Cuddly Dog: Colors and
Shapes and the cover of the dvd boldly states, "For baby’s heart and mind." With this claim to
give me hope, one chaotic late afternoon, I put the dvd in for my three children along with their
3.75 year old and 19 month old cousins to watch. Then I prayed it would work some magic and settle
the little herd of heathens down.
